Fees & coverage
Our fees are in line with guidelines established by the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).
Psychotherapy services are not covered by OHIP; however, we are registered Social Workers (RSW's) so extended insurance plans will reimburse all or part of the fees. The fees that are not covered by the extended benefits, may be claimed on your tax returns as a medical expense.
Upon payment of your session fee, a detailed receipt will be issued containing all the necessary information, including registration numbers, for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Standard session rates
Individual Psychotherapy
$180 per 60-minute session
Family / Couples Psychotherapy
$225 per 75-minute session
Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy
(ages 12+ only)
$270 per 90-minute session

Cancellation
To respect the time and commitment of both our clients and therapists, we require at least 24 hours notice for any session cancellations or rescheduling requests. We require 48 hours notice for equine facilitated psychotherapy cancellations or rescheduling requests. This allows us the opportunity to offer that time to someone else who may be waiting for support.
If an appointment is cancelled with less than the required notice, or in the event of a no-show, a late cancellation fee will apply. We understand that emergencies happen, and we encourage you to communicate with your therapist as soon as possible if you cannot attend.
